『ミャンマー辺境映像祭』の2回目を
大田区池上の池上会館で開催します。
ミャンマーという国（いまだにビルマという言い方の方がピンと来る
人の方が多いかもしれませんが）は、軍事政権国家ということもあって
自由に旅行できない『秘境』と呼べる地域がたくさん残っています。
そういった『秘境＝辺境』を紹介する貴重な映像を持ち寄って上映会を実施しよう
というのがこの映像祭の趣旨です。
前回は日本が世界に誇る『辺境冒険作家』高野秀行氏を
メインにフィーチャーしてビルマ好き探検好きの人々のハートを揺さぶることに
成功しました。
今回も、映像祭の趣旨はそのままに、会場を一回り大きな場所に移し
取り上げるのは地理的に旅行困難な辺境はもちろん、時間の壁も飛び越えて
二度とたどり着くことの出来ない究極の辺境、『過去のミャンマー』
へも招待してしまおうという趣向であります。
今回トシは出品作のネタがなく、応援のみになりますが、
皆様のご来場を期待いたします。
